This was exactly what I was looking for. I love doing my own art but the struggle of using my nondominant hand is frustrating, so I was hoping for a solution and this is exactly what I was thinking. I’m glad it works and I appreciate your clear instructions to make it work properly.

I totally do what you mentioned, watching a bunch of videos about that same thing! That's how I just found your video! Glad I did, you demonstrate a lot better than most! I'm a chronic nail biter and JUST recently was able to stop and I now have nails that are long enough to paint! This was awesome!

I love the simplicity of using a piece of paper inside a zippie bag! BTW, curved cuticle scissors work so well for fine trimming of these decals.

Thanks for this video. You DID give different and easier ways to make the decals. Using the nail art pens was wonderful for intricate designs - I hadn't thought of that and I have a lot of those pens.

I didn't know that this was a method to paint nails! Usually I would just try as hard as I could to paint a nail one color and then try to clean it up using a q-tip and polish remover. This is going to be so much easier, thanks for the tutorial

could you make these with acrylic paint and then use nail polish for the top coat? Also, if you're not good at art, you could print out designs to put in the bag.

Black Rose yes for the printing but you have to make sure you've scaled them down to fit your nails and I'm not sure about acrylic it should work

It's just polish, so depending upon how long your manis usually last. With the right base and top coat for you, you can get a week of wear, easy. Just gotta find what works with your nails.

Yay, I'm glad I was able to teach you a new technique! Like PleasanceLiddle said, the combination of base coat/top coat you use makes a difference. I use a combo of Zoya's base coat with Seche Vite for the top coat (actually in this video I'm using Poshe because my local store was out of SV and I heard Poshe worked just as well). I normally get about 1 to 2 weeks of wear. That combo might not work for everyone though, I've heard of Seche Vite not working for people at all, but it works great for me and I can't live without it.

+trashcankun I'm not sure, they might get too brittle if you let them dry too long, but I'm not sure because I used mine the same day I made them. I think I've heard of people keeping theirs for a week or so. I'll have to do a little test and see! I wish I could have been more helpful!

+chezlin thank you!! i tried it out but i used wax paper instead (you can get it from sticker packs) and it peeled off perfectly :D they only lasted for a few days if left on the wax paper, but it worked well!
