Very creative. What I like most about this: 1 - You used relatively cheap components. 2 - Those magnets not only held items together, I NEVER KNEW you could pass electricity through these using that "scratch technique". Bravo! 3 - Your triangular panels really belong in a museum or high end club than anywhere else. Great job, dude!

I was thinking excatly the same about the electricity :D
@bheeshmavasuprasad3 жыл бұрын
I thought a lot and figured it out All data in are connected together for all panels, the led strips don't know this, so instead of being one continuous strip they are multiple strips with one data connection, THE DATA OUT PIN IS NOT USED ANYWHERE

Really nice. The only limitation I see it's the fact that every triangular play the same motif (all data in are linked). But I understand it's not possible to link "data out" of one to "data in" of the other one. I really don't know how nanoleaf did that !

Great project. Was planning to make something and wanted magnetic connectors but had no idea what to do and where to get them. Thank you very much and keep up good work
@parthamlani50025 ай бұрын
if you stuck all of triangles with double sided tape how is the magnet any better than a normal connector. If using a magnet in all leaves had an advantage of customisation at any given point if we use a double sided tape to stick it it kind of destroys half the point of it right? A genuine question.

Magnetic force is reduced by about 50%, but it is sufficient
