Turkey necks are my fav! Love when they are mixed in a crawfish boil or cooked on the stove top. We usually "stew" them.. I cannot stand when ppl smother them down in gravy. And now you talking about mustard and ketchup??!!!! Oh no baby what is they doing????

Yes Charlie. Those necks are cooked to perfection. 👌🏾Can you believe I've never cooked turkey necks that way? I run them through the oven and smother them in gravy but as much as I love them boiled I've never done them that way. I went to Cajuns on Claiborne and got some when I was home in February. Now you've taught me how to do them myself. Can't wait!!! 😋

Crawfish boils is a New Orleans thang. We add the same ingredients you saw in this video. We boil crawfish, Shrimp, Crabs, Corn on the cobb, potatoes, Smoked sausage, Pig feet, and turkey necks.

I am making turkey neck today and wanted to change up my regular recipe. Your video is very simple compared to all the other ones that had 20 steps and added over 100 ingredients 🤣🤣🤣. Thanks Byron. Adding mashed potatoes and peas with the Turkey necks is a different meal. The way I prepared and cooked the Turkey necks in this video is more of an appetizer than a meal. Typical of the Crawfish boils in New Orleans. We have crawfish, shrimp, corn on the cobb, potatoes, Smoked sausage, pig feet and Turkey necks. All are prepared and cooked as an appetizer.

Mouthwatering!Never had just necks.crawfishshrimp corn&sausageandevenwieners.When the daughter lived in Alabama for a short period of time,she said those folks called it a junk pot,only seasoningused was Tony Chaceret.She couldn't wait to get back to N.O.You make me miss Home!
