This was the jam back in the day. The bones would be sucked dry! We used to refer to this dish as our ghetto oxtail. Very tasty.

Before I get into my comment I just want to say God has blessed me with a beautiful Jamaican wife and beautiful children. It has been a priority of ours to keep their Jamaican heritage alive by cooking more and more authentic dishes. On top of learning from my mother/ father and their host of family and friends, your channel has helped us keep the tradition going! Thanks for the videos. More importantly the great example you all give the the world of a loving family!! Now to my real comment. Where I am from in the states, we only known “bird’s neck” as seasoning meat. We never thought to use it as the main ingredient of a meal. Not only does my wife and kids love this recipe and my own immediate family loves this dish!! Love the channel. ✌🏾

Sasha, love you. But don’t quit your day job. Lol. You’re good at what you do being deddy’s manager etc. I’ve been with your family from the beginning & absolutely love all of you & really like 👍🏽 all these recipes. I’m not Jamaican ( actually a south Texas transplanted to Ca), who loves seasoned foods. We actually ate some of the same dishes( mostly meats) as you guys do. Thank you guys so much & please keep up the good works. So very helpful & deddy’s sign off is awesome with the Bible verse. The spiritual inspiration is necessary in these days.
