Great Video, Question - To age furniture do you have to use Milk paint or can I use Chalk paint? Thank you!
@JamiRayVintage3 жыл бұрын
Doesn’t have to be milk paint but this particular paint will naturally chip and age and it’s very similar to the way paint wax made 100 years ago so it’s easy to achieve that aged look. We use DIY paint which is a chalk-type paint all the time and distress it as well. It just gives a little different look
@carolewhite46594 жыл бұрын
Please tell me you're keeping this beauty for your farmhouse! Awesome job...if I was going to add a distressed piece to my home, I'd most likely tackle my China cabinet that my mom bought in the 70's

I am a sucker for functional sea foam/blue green shutters. They dont have to be typical slated wood strips...all types of designs .... can make or break the look of the front of the house. 'Chippy, aged wood' with color and design variation can be an authentic way to: have your house front make a statement...break cross breeze or heat helping to lower energy demand....

Beautiful table! I would love to make a weathered entry area coat rack with shelves and a bench incorporated, maybe an old mirror in it. I worked so hard to make old wood look new- now I’m making new wood look old- I wonder what the next trend will be! I’ve been married for almost 34 years, the furniture I had when we first married would totally be in style now (so decrepit)!😜
