I FINALLY FOUND IT!! I’m from Malaysia and my university back then had an event where international students can introduce their culture. I remember eating this at a booth and I had a great time talking with the students. I ate so much of this I swear I got addicted. I asked them where can I find this in Penang once the event was over because I liked it so much 😞 This was back in 2018 or 2019 and I still remember it until now. I’m so happy I found this 😭 I’ll try to make this soon so thank you for the recipe!!!!

Does baking powder reduce the crunchiness?
@TheModeler99 Жыл бұрын
@@michaelwisdom456 It makes the dough rise so it's becomes airy inside the chin-chin. So when you chew it might feel less crunchy. Personally, I make chin-chin in the shape of strings (not cubes like in the video) so I add baking powder to make it easier to chew.
