Thanks! And there just may be a Part 2 coming. He wants to make another improved version.

Watching a dozen Jacki Chan movies definitely qualifies you as a master weapons maker! We love how you got your son involved and also taught him proper safety tips such as wearing masks. Definitely a candidate for father of the year! (Shout out for showing the US Air Force!) We wish to watch many more of your videos but you might have to give up your singing career at the end of the video. LOL

So you’re saying my dreams of being a rock star are never going to happen? That hurts, hurts deep. But at least I know all those years of watching cheesy Kung Fu movies have finally paid off. It was a lot of fun making these videos with my son, and he loves what we made. Thanks for checking out the video and safety first!

It was a fun project, it’s good to be able to pass some of my skills and passion for making things on. And definitely F.O.T.Y. 2019, that’s me!

How much did you spend on parts

Preston Gerimonte I don’t remember the exact cost at this point, this was a while ago, but I think about around $20 or so

JFKreations oh ok Thankyou and did you have any problems with it breaking
@JFKreations4 жыл бұрын
Preston Gerimonte no problem. As far as breaking, no they’re holding in there. My son doesn’t use that very much though, think he’s a little scared of them after accidentally wacking his knuckles with them.

JFKreations oh did he wack it on the metal part

Preston Gerimonte I think it was just the wood handle actually. Still hurt either way. Previous he had a set of foam padded basically toy nunchucks, and it didn’t matter if he cracked his knuckles or forehead with them. This was more of just a fun father son type project anyway rather than trying to make authentic, or properly balanced nunchucks. If you knew how nunchucks are actually designed, which I really don’t, you could probably experiment with different hardware, and tweak my basic design and come up with a really decent set of nunchucks.
