Listennnnnn, I am a 24 yr old and i love beef stew , never made it before. Got the ingredients added just a few more seasonings i like and ohhhh my goodness. I put on the video while i was cookin, felt like we was cooking together. It was a wholeeee vibe, and super easy to follow. My gf was happy she said she could tell i made it with love. Looking real good as always. Keeping them old time recipes alive and teaching these youngens something too!! Many have lost it or don’t know what many of us had to do back in the day. These fast foods weren’t it!! We had each other, dinner, the dining room table and prayed. After dinner came the dishes, the trash, washed up got ready for bed time then maybe dessert after dinner settled, lastly brushed our teeth said our prayers then to bed we went. Those were the days. That looks so good! Just to let you know when you cook with wine all of the alcohol cooks out so you don’t need to worry about the kids or anyone else who shouldn’t have alcohol. Thanks for another great recipe!

Yes, that's true. It's quite safe for kids. It adds nice flavor. The alcohol cooks right off. Nice that he's that concerned!! I was gonna post this but I see you did already. His recipe looks amazing.

Well, yes and no. Some of the alcohol cooks off. Food cooked with alcohol for 15 minutes, still retains 40% of the alcohol.

Yes you’re right but our family doesn’t keep alcohol in the house and we have a son too..that was one thing about his presentation that hooked me. He didn’t use wine a lot of other recipes I came across used wine. Just a preference for our house

Who said you can't teach an old dog new tricks. I am 57 and make pretty good beef stew, but I wanted to try another way. Much of it was similar, but you had some tricks. I only changed a couple of things. I added fresh mushrooms because we like them, and I had some green beans from the garden. The last thing I did differently was that I am in online college now and only had a little time, so I used my Instant Pot, but I still used your directions for adding in stages. My husband has been on the road as he drives team and is home weekly. I can not wait for him to try this!!! He gets home tonight! Yum Yum Yum.....
