Wow well done Andy, I use to do similar, when I finished sanding I used kiwi brown shoe polish and a paint brush when my mum saw the fine result well..he he, I had to go round and polish all the wooden furniture for her,

Try beeswax next time instead od shoe polish...your mom is smart!

Nice job. Huge difference. How much more do you figure this easy enough improvement made you on the sale? Only thing I might have done is put something over the baffles and floor to make cleanup easier.

I sold them a bit cheaper as I paid for them, just bought them for my channel and because they never come online, they are rare

They remind me a little of our old ITT 8073's, which also featured real wood veneer..and similar damage from a goldfish bowl placed on top! >.

Yeah, quite a few cringeworthy moments in there. When he pulled out that 60 grit on for that thin veneer, yipes! Then the sanding against the grain, I learned not to do that when I was like 8 years old.
