People need to stop telling other how to do things and say it;s not the oil that works etc. She's proof it WORKS! And for some of yah to come on here and tell otherwise it's disrespectful and if your going to bash her then just click away. It clearly works and what may work for her may not necessarily work for you so scoop away now!

Gotta make sure you're healthy on the inside and your hair, skin and nails will reflect that. Our community has an unhealthy habit of focusing on length instead of health. Health>Length. Be safe and careful not to repeat that overload from last time and good luck.

I am glad you are trying something new, but it's not the oil that makes hair grow, it's scalp massage, good diet, and a good protein/moisture balance, little to no heat, and low manipulation. Please be careful with these oils, oils have protein. I only use oil on my scalp, and I moisturize and seal with hair grease. It works for me. All these fads like rice water, and such can cause protein overload. Stay safe!!

Im glad you are strong in your hair conviction. Do what you know works. You know your hair…I think it was the product, because I have low prosody hair as well. I also know I do not need a lot of protein in my hair. I learned the hard way…just like you did. I was going to buy the same products but when I read the ingredients, I knew it had a lot of protein in it, and I knew what it would do to my hair. So I didn’t buy it. I did purchase the mint oil though that’s OK. But, if that shiz ever happened to you again. Get a jar of the African pride pre-shampoo conditioner. That stuff got a lot of tangles out of my hair.🤗

A lot of products in stores use plant, vegetable and fruit extracts and derived ingredients….. if you don’t want to DIY, don’t. But don’t condemn her for trying.
@officialsyddinpretty
@officialsyddinpretty Жыл бұрын
@@CurlswithKrys I get the attempt, but there's a difference between an EXTRACT and applying Whole Foods. Scientists and chemists extracting certain compounds in a lab is absolutely not the same as applying Whole Foods to your hair. It's not condemning her, it's telling the truth. You'd get better results consuming the food products and purchasing products from a legit hair care line that contains the extracts.

@@officialsyddinpretty Exactly, I was just giving some advice. You can save time and energy. Drink onion tea.
@CurlswithKrys
@CurlswithKrys Жыл бұрын
@@officialsyddinpretty not sure if you watched the whole video but she literally used a form of extraction here.. very similar to a solvent extraction and maceration ( you can look it up) you can extract and activate ingredients using heat. Now as far as using Whole Foods on your hair. Don’t knock it til you try it. I’ve done plenty DIYs using Whole Foods and they always make an extreme difference in my hair especially if it’s protein that I’m making. It’s not necessary to do this can you can also buy products but it’s also not harmful and yields similar if not better results than store bought products if made and used correctly.
