This is a good tutorial! I love how everything turned out in the end. I just want to add more helpful information regarding the orchestration side of this tool. Since we are using FL Studio, a DAW, and not Musescore, we are given a big opportunity to modify each individual sounds. 4:43 is a way to lower the track volume but there is a better way to modify the sound. For each individual channel, press Ctrl+L to link them to the mixer. The mixer is a tool used to add effects and for this situation, volume automation. In this way, not only that we can lower the voicings of each melody but we can also automate it so that it sounds more realistic. Another way of making realistic sounds is to automate through the pattern itself. This is achieved by selecting the Volume section (originally the velocity) by pressing on Control and going to Volume. This is helpful for those pieces with repeating number of patterns. It is possible to add reverb and effects through mixer but not on the channel rack section. The EQ or equalizer is also suggested for mixing because it makes the whole piece balanced. After all of that is done, the mastering part is now up to you to balance the overall volume and fix the piece. I hope this kind of information is helpful in a way. Make sure to learn the piano roll, a bit of music theory, and you're good to go!

Tip: if your audio clips stretch when the tempo changes and you don’t want them to, put the tempo to where you want it to be at and then click the audio clips and change them to either stretch or stretch pro and they won’t (it’s originally set to either resample or auto, sometimes generic though by default depending on where the audio clip is from). Sometimes it’s not necessary but just in case if anyone was wondering how to prevent that from happening while the tempo changes (this is for fl studio, I’m unsure how it may work in other software)

Awesome! Just my thoughts. I think maybe the reverb could be reduced a bit, I think it would be good, but in such a way, you can still have warmth of the instruments based on the expression or rather interpretation of each sections distance from the listener or the position of each section in the room or hall. Keep up the great work!

great composition ! I love it ! Bot too much reverb.. I think it would be better if you lowered the reverb a bit so that the solo instruments would sound like solos. And the violin needs dynamics and expression. Other than that it's very good

I notice the use of off-scale notes on the melody for the second part. Has it to do with borrowed chords or is it just an unrelated melody technique?
@uranus20tutorials4 күн бұрын
I mainly used C dorian scale, but in the second part I also used some notes from C minor scale(Ab) and C harmonic minor scale(B).

bro how did u make the flute sounds natural? u've adjusted channel pitch as far as ı see at 2:38. did u do it manually or is there any shortcut to do this?
@uranus20tutorialsКүн бұрын
I did it manually, and it’s not as complex as it seems. Try various versions of pitch bend that sound natural to you, it won’t take long :)

@@uranus20tutorials but how do u automate channel pitch? ı mean can u link the channel pitch and the pitch bend on ur midi keydboard? or are u just drawing it with ur mouse?
@uranus20tutorialsКүн бұрын
Sure, you can link your midi keyboard to the pitch bend, and if you’re not familiar with the method you can still automate it with your mouse.
