Great vid! Vocoder on perc is one of my fave techniques. Question tho: do you keep your hats, snares and claps on grid? I like to move mine off a bit for some groove.
@DowdenProductionAcademy2 жыл бұрын
I keep some on and some off :) Depends on swingy the track already sounds and how each sounds off the grid. I usually do, though! :)

I'm learning so much from this tutorial! Thank you. Im struggling to create the melodic loop using the simple piano. I still can't get a less harsh, more hollow piano key sound (trying to be as descriptive as my musical knowledge allows). At minute 24.

Can you study organic electronic music from Latin America? like Nicola Cruz, Rodrigo Gallardo, El Buho, Barrio Lindo and many others. There is nothing on the web about it.
@DowdenProductionAcademy3 жыл бұрын
I'm not familiar with any of those names, unfortunately!
@jslg76413 жыл бұрын
@@DowdenProductionAcademy you should try to expand a bit your repertoire, these guys especially the first 3 are massive producers, less mainstream than ADID and all that overly popular commercial so-called dreamy/ethnic music... hopefully later on your otherwise great channel.
