Step 3 is called 'Preliminary base fold' and fold all 4 corners meet at one place. Another easy way is to fold the paper in half after finishing Step 2. Then take hold of the paper between fingers and thumbs of either hand, place about halfway across each side of the paper. Bring all your finger and thumbs together, causing all 4 corners to meet in one place. Hope this helps👍

It's called 'Preliminary base' or 'Square base' and bring the four corners together. You are not looking to create any new folds here. You are collapsing the paper on the folds you have already made in Step 1 and 2. Hope this helps😉

If you use glue it is technically a craft and no longer origami because origami only consists of folds so yea.
