That’s not 1tbsp yeast. One packet of yeast is 1/2 tbsp or 8g 🤦‍♀️ I tried your recipe with 1tbsp what a fail 😢 had to go back to see your video to notice you only mixed one packet of yeast

A packet of yeast is 2 1/4 tsps ( which is more than 1/2 a Tbsp ) I should've added in the video that I added 3/4 of a tsp more. That being said 2 1/4 tsps vs 3 tsps which is 1 Tbsp shouldn't make that much of a difference. I did use 1 Tbsp in my recipe. It could have been something else that went wrong? If you didn't add enough yeast or your yeast is dead you won't get enough rise. This is a rich dough so instant yeast works similar to osmotolerant yeast in recipes with high sugar and fat content. If you used active dry you may possibly need a little more. If you tell me specifically what went wrong then I can help you from there. 🙃
