📚 Gau Gee
Ingredients:
¼ pound ground pork
¼ pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tablespoon green onion, sliced
2 tablespoon water chestnut, diced amzn.to/454PH3K

1 tablespoon mirin amzn.to/3IP7vGA
1 tablespoon shoyu amzn.to/3VFNBSN
2 teaspoon oyster sauce amzn.to/3s6Tkn5
1 teaspoon garlic amzn.to/3DuWsyo
1 teaspoon sesame oil amzn.to/3C6v2iC

Won ton wrappers
Cooking oil amzn.to/3g47p2w
Directions:
1. Make the filling: To a large bowl add pork, shrimp, green onion, water chestnut, cornstarch, mirin, shoyu, oyster sauce, garlic, sesame oil, sugar, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
2. Place about 1-2 teaspoons of filling onto the wrapper. Dip your finger in water and brush the water around the edge of the wrapper. Fold the wrapper in half lengthwise to create a rectangle and push the edges together to create a seal. Set aside.
3. Continue with the rest of the mixture and wrappers.
4. Heat your cooking oil of choice over medium high heat to 350F.
5. Carefully place the dumpling in the hot oil and fry for 1-2 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
6. Remove from the oil and place on a paper towel or cooling rack over a cookie sheet to drain excess oil. Serve immediately and ENJOY!
