Nice method, Also you can put the egg in water, sprinkle salt all over it, and let it boil for about 30min. Run it under some cool water to let it cool off. That allows it to peel easy as well, that's what the salt does.

One thing I'd suggest is spinning the water so there's a tornado in the center before carefully dropping in the eggs. This helps the egg yolk stay in the center and is especially good if you're making soft boiled eggs like ramen eggs or something similar

Adding the eggs to boiling water prevents them from sticking to the shell so they peel super easily even when hot.

One awesome tip I saw in a Japanese Noodle video is to prick a small hole(you can do a small stab with a tooth pick or a knife tip) on the non pointy end of the egg(this side has the air pouch so egg won't seep through) you'll never see eggs break while boiling.

I usually run my eggs under hot water to increase the temp, instead of setting them out.

Easier way is just use a smaller pot, put some eggs in, pour some water into the pot that can cover the entire egg like 3/4 the pot, put it on high heat and wait until it drains the water by itself and it would be hard boiled egg.

Roll them in your hands the membrane (skin) and shell falls right off. Just roll egg in both palms. No need to crack. Put a little salt in water makes them slip right out of shell as u roll them in your palms... thanks mom.

I put mine in cold water and turn the heat on, once it boils I turn off the heat and set a timer for 15 minutes. after 15 minutes chill them a little and they should be fully boiled
