You might want to check on the legality first before trying. I know that that store bought roses are sometimes patented, but I’m not sure to the extent.

Please helllp! 😭 I messed up! I accidentally added 30gr/L of agar instead of 6gr/L. I used an expensive DKW media and other expensive additives and hormones and I don't wanna waste it! Will this too high concentration of agar affects plant growth?

Why do you use alcohole burner flame? It leaves soot on the scalpel. Wouldn't a hot air gun do the same? It's hot e enough to melt solder and burn plastic I'm sure it would sterilize the scalpel.

@@afishl1 There isn't a single definition of "organic", it depends on the context the word is used. While TC isn't organic in the way normally used for plant produce for human consumption, TC can avoid the use of pesticides because its done in a mostly sterile enviroment. So its not "organic" but it does have some of the advantages of organic products.

Actually in the context of chemistry, as long as it have C-H (carbon-hydrogrn) bonds, it is organic. So, yes! The plant is organic. Fun fact, do you know that water itself is not organic because it is made of H2O (no C-H bonds) and most of the plastics that we use today e.g., polyethylene terephthalate (PET) in water bottles are organic because they're a polymer with C-H bonds.

You shouldn't have anything between your flow hood and what your working on, not only does is disrupt airflow so you no long get laminar flow but you also send anything that's on that object flying back Into your work, with proper sterile technique nothing should come between your work and the air flow. Or at least that's how I learned in the mushroom world! thanks for the video

the idea is to get it acclimated to room temp and the water is supposed to hydrate it big time so that the pieces don't dry out too quickly lol. hope that helps.
