I love all your videos. I miss my moms cooking so much! She’s been gone for years and wish she was here to teach me. But now I found you and feel you were sent to teach me! Thank you!

Dober večer! I am checking this KZbin channel as per recommendation of my partner. Thank you for this video. It's one of my Dragi's favorites. And I need to learn how to make it for him. 🤗🥰

My mother used winter plums. You can also use ground walnuts in melted butter and sugar instead of bread crumbs to serve on top. Some people use apricots if there's no plums available.

Never tried it with ground walnuts and I have seen them with apricots but never tried it yet either. I can’t wait to give it a try yum!! ❤️

@@SlovenianKitchenbyMichelle Thank you for your recipe! I lost mine. It looks so delicious the way you brown it in the breadcrumbs! As for the walnuts, sugar and unsalted butter you can also put it on elbow macaroni for the children. I love it myself!

Oh my goodness! I still make these! We call them češpovi knedelnji (ya, I know German sneaking in like it does close to the Austrian border). I use sour cream instead of butter. Sadly, we don't see the smaller prune plums very often in Australia, so I cut the larger plums in half or use apricots. So good and hard to just eat a few, but then reality hits when you step on the scale!
