Good tutorial. Of course, this method can be applied to all sorts of things. I'm not much on jewelry. But I love a nicely decorated room. This method could be applied to coasters, planters, vases and much more, I'm sure. BTW, paper does not burn until the temperature reaches 451 degrees Fahrenheit (232 degrees Celsius.) I don't know where this idea comes from. I guess they never had to read "Fahrenheit 451" in school.

Hello! Love your videos, some of the best ideas I’ve seen so far!! One question- I usually just bake for the recommended 15 mins at 275, and so I was surprised when you said you do it for 30 mins in another video- maybe my oven is not working like it should, but mine (translucent clay) can even start to burn/turn yellow sometimes even at 15 min bake time, I can’t imagine 30 mins! I’m wondering if I’m doing something wrong?

I have seen in other video’s from polymer clay guru’s that Minwax is one of the worst sealers to use as it eventually eats away at the clay. It is much better to use a water based sealer, even Pledge Revive or any sealers produced by the polymer clay companies.

Your earrings are amazing! I have a question about your jade earrings though . Is it important to use sculpey bake and bond ? And if we put any acrylic paint , is that fine cause from my experience I have seen the paint fades in the oven …

I haven’t seen any fading in the acrylic paints. And the bake n bond helps bond everything together, so I would say its pretty important.
