I am 70 years old and always remember the lady across the street use to make us red and green popcorn balls at Christmas. I waited all year to see her coming across the street with her little basket of popcorn balls. It was so special as my mother never made sweets like that. My anticipation every year for those popcorn balls was thrilling. Such a wonderful childhood memory.

My mom used to make popcorn balls every Halloween. Until people started worrying about what could be put into them. 😢 Sad that the great traditions were stopped because of how days have changed.
