Ms. Bensinger, I tried your recipe and it came out PERFECT ! Thanks for making this video. Sometimes it just helps to see how to make something. Reading a recipe is one thing. But seeing the recipe in motion is even more helpful. So thanks for sharing your expertise with this awesome recipe ! Brava !

You might think about poking them with a knife when they come out of the oven to ledt the steam come out. It will also keep them from falling.

Once you poke them they deflate. They’re hollow inside. By the time they reach the table they won’t be as hot. Directly from the oven they are steaming hot inside.

@@VickiBensinger I started making these with my grandmother over 60 + years ago. She knifed so I knife and never have had them deflate.

@spankula123 Yes all ingredients should be at room temperature. This way all ingredients cook at the same time allowing the popovers to rise high and be light and airy.

Could you tell me why when the muffin in the oven they are inflated so much but they shrink when I take them out of oven,thank you!

@sorega2 yes it is one cup of flour. If you go to my blog you will find the recipe. I promise it's one cup all purpose flour. I use I bleached. Hope that helps.

How do you make them so huge? My milk and eggs were cold, that may be the problem.

I keeped mine for 50 minute still not pop up why when we make they not pop up the same in video do you people mix baking power in flours this not aircas we waste ingredients if no give correct recipe you are good actress lick you tongue
