UPDATE:1 year and still cranks within the first 2-3 pulls. Probably will buy another when this one finally does bite the dust kzbin.infoUgkx43QMbQqu67IZadu9ou8Sg1BdrunMRNqX . No issues at all. Very happy with it.UPDATE: After 6 months of use and over 70 uses I would still highly recommend this pressure washer. It does vibrate a decent amount but never had it “walk” like others have mentioned. No oil leaks, still seems to run like the day I bought it. Still cranks within 2-3 pulls every time. Very happy with my purchase!Have used it about a dozen times now. Plenty of power, cranks up on 1-2 pulls every time. My only complaint would be I wish it was a little taller to make it easier to walk with it (hits my ankles a lot) and that the two hose connections were a little further apart but it hasn’t caused me any issues. Seems to run a good 1-1/2-2 hrs on a full tank, overall a well built machine and definitely worth the money in my opinion.

@@electric_photon4660 I'm wondering the same thing. I don't think that that inner tube rubber is gonna last long from the friction of that shaft, I could be wrong since it is getting cooled by the water flowing around it assuming your using cold water. My thinking is to use a more substantial seal like what would be used on an automotive water pump or other water pump of some kind. I think that they use different materials other than just plain rubber. Maybe butyl rubber or even a thick O-ring from a material that can put up with more heat and friction? Just my thoughts....
@electric_photon46606 жыл бұрын
for what its worth, innertube rubber should do fine. the cost to buy all the materials to build this would be more than just buying a cheap pump. its still a cool project tho

as long as you don't mind replacing it all the time :D it won't work for very long because the motors top bearing comes in contact with water, and the exposed untreated steel blade is also in contact with water. it''ll corrode in no time (or the motor will seize with a failed bearing before that happens)

Hello, this video was very informative thank you. It is relatable to a project I am working on for school. I noticed the the impeller blades were longer in one direction than the other, if you flipped the impeller on the motor shaft, does that affect the flow rate?Which configuration has the larger flow rate? So there are two different configurations in question: 1. Current impeller orientation, current motor polarity 2. Flipped impeller orientation, current motor polarity Did the outlet port orientation have any influence on the impeller orientation? Please also describe the impeller orientation, maybe by providing a diagram. Thank you for your assistance.
