hi there! when i try to make a plane tree like that it puts a black background outside the edge of the tree and fills the whole plane instead of just the image of the tree like yours does. i'm quite sure the png i'm using has no background so why would this be happening and how can i fix it? this tutorial has been so helpful thank you!

Is there a way to ensure that the textures on the models all have the same pixel count? I always end up with some textures having a lot more pixels than others in the same object. Is there a way to texture something with full res, and then distributing pixels around the object uniformely?
@mikey41rules22 күн бұрын
This is called texel density. There is a lot of information and tools out there to help you achieve a uniform pixel scale across all objects

What's the benefits of Godot over PSY-Q? I feel it may be better to use Windows NT and Softimage for the modelling because that's what was used for PS1 development. Combine that PSY-Q and you can make legit PS1 games. To have them run on PC you just build in an emulator into the executable. Thoughts?
@binbunYT Жыл бұрын
These aren't really meant to be played on a ps1. There's been this kind of trend of people making games that are in the STYLE of ps1 games. Especially horror games. Also the thing isn't really making games accurate to PS1 it's more just about the style and the feeling it gives (nostalgia).
