I don’t eat bread pudding. I never got a taste for it. But my husband loves it and he’s always looking for a good bread pudding. After 35 years of marriage I finally decided to try making one since I had some Italian bread leftover from a catering order. I came across your recipe and gave it a shot. I did taste it uncooked and thought it was good (something about the texture of it cooked that I can’t take I guess). Just want to say it was a BIG hit! Not only did my husband love it (and he’s the pickiest person on the planet!) but so did his family who were visiting. Thank you as now I have a new recipe to use on holidays!

Never seen bread pudding made this way. Usually it’s made with eggs and milk. It would have been nice if you cut the bread pudding to show us how it looks inside.

You need to add eggs to batter and then Carmel sauce in pan before you add pudding to bake.

Hi Gloria bake at 350 degrees baking time depends on size of pan you use, the small pans I used usually take 30min test the doneness with a toothpick if it comes out dry your bread pudding is ready

I noticed that you don’t not add eggs and don’t make the caramel sauce to go with it. I Was wondering if flans taste better without eggs and the caramel sauce. I’ve never seen a recipe that doesn’t add those ingredients.

This is not Flan it's bread pudding so no caramel sauce is used for this recipe

Continué previos comment. She did not cut it to see inside because it will break since is without eggs and really I do not like with cooking oil and cinnamon on top . I like it with caramel to have that flavor.
