I breadboarded this on TinkerCad, and the only way I could get it to work without blowing the LED every time was put another resistor between the positive (anode) leg of the LED and pin number 4 (also, I was using a 9V battery for power). After that it worked just fine, thanks.

I want to use this with 9v too -- I'm curious what resistor did you use? Or does it kinda depend on the LED? Just wanna save some time -- and LEDs 😅

- Invert the pins on the pot to have the LED blink faster when turned clockwise and slower when turned counterclockwise. - If using regular LED, add a resistor between Pin 4 and LED+ (330 ohms for exemple) - You can use higher votage, up to 12 or 15 volts, but LED resistor in pin 4 might be increased if so.

hello can some one help my please I did see lot pwm modulators on the internet but my project is difficult I need retarding mechanism for my hei 4 pin ignition module it uses variabel reluctor wheel or also called pick up coil so the idea was that I use simpli second ignition module and ignition coil and simpli use split wire on the pick up coil so I can run dual ignion modules so the idea was 1 modules run normali the 2 module wuld drive an pulse generator the input is fead from same pick up coil to the pulse generator thats onli used for engine start up because my original ignition module does not have retarding option my lande does not suport any upgrades for my distributor so I hoppe some one can sugest some thing Im not shure if ac signals wuld trigger those hand heald pulse generators some thing is mentioned TTI input there are 3 pins I dono what they are .Any way I hoppe some how to bypass this problem with dobbel circuets to creat some sort of delay circuets betwean dual ignition modules just so I can use same pick up coil to trigger 2 circuets and switch of and on ich circuet seperatli that problem plagues my for years so I try to finde solution for it the original 4 pin gm ignition module is weak has terribel ignition coil saturation it does not work under low rpm engine ranges and ithas weak spark in cold weather also it does not have retarding option as well. So I hoppe my question makes sence there are lot pulse modules online so Im not shure if those pins wuld work on ac electriciti at all or must I convert it to dc first wia resistor and capacitor??? 🤔
