I love this idea for my scraps that multiply exponentially while I am sleeping! Maybe if I cut a cat before I finish for the night, I will wake up to find a full litter? Incidentally, and to make this post worth reading, rather than just my humour, crumb quilting is the purrfect way (get the 2nd pun? Oh, I'm on a roll!) to deal with BIAS strips - or edges from all those triangles. Endless possibilities for bias and vertical/horizontal stripe designs too!

I know - I always say that I think they breed in the dark. ;) Yes, good tip on using pieces with bias strips as you don't have to worry about issues with those. I love your sense of humour!

Just fold the fabric in half and run it through the cutter to make 2 cats. Then decide which one you like better! Also fuse your fabric first and cut your shapes with the fusible already attached. I love my accuquilt!

That is a great idea, if you don’t have a acu cutter could you put a light stabilizer on the back or could you just iron on the fusible web making the cutting easier.

Yes, you can iron on fusible web and then cut out your designs and that should work well.

I don't have a die cutter and can't afford one is there any other way to cut crumb fabric for this.I want to decorate a quilt for my great granddaughters

You can use objects like cookie cutters or even lids to create shapes to cut out fabrics.
