How to Make Quilling Paper Begonias | Quilling Paper Flowers | Quilling for Beginners

Follow along as I play with super-thin quilling paper strips and make one of my husband's favorite flowers - the begonia!

Hi, Meredith. Beautiful work! I've tried Aileen's in a little needle-nosed bottle, but I'll need to start lifting weights if I hope to squeeze more than a pin-drop size out. Do you water your glue down to be able to use it in such a bottle? If so, how much water do you add for one squeeze bottle's worth of glue?

I do have one bottle with Tacky Glue in it, but, you're right - it's next to impossible to squeeze out as it dries in the nozzle. Usually, when I'm using TG, I squeeze a bit out of my big bottle and dip a needle tool in it to dispense. I don't water it down, but that might be a good experiment to try.

Do u have any tips for quilling if we have long nails? Specially with strips as tiny as these

I find it really hard to make quillings when my nails are long, especially my thumbs. Using a slotted tool helps control the paper. Also, using tweezers really helps!
