Thanks so much! I don’t cut my strips, but I know others just use some sort of manual paper cutter for theirs.

Depende del proyecto, pero normalmente uso Glue-All de Elmer cuando hago bobinas y junte quilling y Tacky Glue de Aleene cuando hago más quilling en 3D.

Meridith Hello, Beautiful dragonfly, but somehow I missed the size of paper. Is it 1/8" or 3mm?
@ThePaperyCraftery16 күн бұрын
These are 1/8" as that's what's most common in the US, but 3mm is almost exactly the same width.

I buy from a few places online, but I always leave direct links to all the supplies that I use for each project in the description box for the video to make them easy to find 🙂

How cute! I have to make this one. Do you have a tutorial for making a lady bug?
@ThePaperyCraftery2 жыл бұрын
I only have a fairly old blog post about ladybugs 👉 www.thepaperycraftery.com/quilling/quilling-paper-ladybugs/ I think I can come up with a better one, so I'll put it on the list for this summer. Thanks for the inspiration and keep an eye out for that video soon 😁

Can l ask..why don’t you attach the three body pieces together before rolling? You rolled each, glued and then attached the next color. Jut curious if it makes a difference. Still learning. Love, LOVE, your videos.
@ThePaperyCraftery4 жыл бұрын
Thanks Nancy! You can absolutely glue the strips end to end and it will work on the same way. I do it quite often myself! Just used a different technique for this video. Some people even just tuck the new strip in to the coil without gluing as they roll, but that’s tricky for my fingers sometimes 🙂

Can you use greaseproof paper for quilling please
@ThePaperyCraftery2 жыл бұрын
I've had people mention that they've used it before and had success, but then some others don't. I don't think the surface of parchment paper or greaseproof paper is slick enough to prevent sticking, so that's why I stick to wax paper. Some people also like plastic wrap or "press and seal".

Oh! I love Dragonflies! I like that sparkle paper! Waiting for my stuff to arrive and get started! Great video! On to the strawberry video!😁👍👏👏👏👏🙏

What width of paper are you using? I find that a lot of your videos you don't say what width you use.
@ThePaperyCraftery2 жыл бұрын
Usually I use 1/8" width strips because they are the most commonly available, unless I mention something different. Keep in mind that most projects can be done with other widths so you can use what ever size you feel comfortable with. I do always list the supplies I use with direct links in the description box of every video, so I hope that helps 🙂

Where can I find the rose gold strips for the wings?
@ThePaperyCraftery3 жыл бұрын
The rose gold edged strips are from a company called JJ Quilling Design and I bought them from the site CustomQuillingByDenise.com but it doesn’t seem to be in stock there. She does have other metallic-edge strips though. There are also some other colors listed on QuilledCreations.com. I haven’t looked but JJ Quilling may have their own retail site online.

Where is the best place to order supplies and does this video have a print out of what you need to do this project?
@ThePaperyCraftery3 жыл бұрын
In the description box below each video, I make a list of all the supplies I use with a link to purchase each one. The websites vary depending on the product. Unfortunately, I don’t know if KZbin has a print function for the descriptions.

Which glue is that
@ThePaperyCraftery3 жыл бұрын
If I don't mention otherwise, I use regular Elmer's glue. I do have a video on what kind of glues I use for quilling and when. You can watch that here 👉 kzbin.info/www/bejne/mZ7Jd4isqptni9k

I would love if this had closed caption for me (I am deaf)
@ThePaperyCraftery4 жыл бұрын
Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I had incorrectly thought that KZbin captions videos automatically. I will work on manually captioning my videos myself so they can be useful to all crafters. In the meantime, the majority of my videos are made into written blog posts with full instructions on my website, including the dragonfly. If you go to the description box in this video, you’ll find the direct link there.

The Papery Craftery Thank you 😊🤟

Alma, Look at your screen, see where the video is? Ok now look at the upper right corner of video screen, do you see 3 dots vertically? Click on that and you bring down a menu, see closed caption? Click on that. You can also slow down the speed of a video or make it go faster. People use the slow motion video to watch for things like BIG FOOT, Paranormal videos, etc.... hope that helps.😁👍🙏
