Such a beautiful soap, thank you for sharing the pouring process. My favorite part of the video was hearing the short snippet of your kids, I laughed so hard! I’m a grandma now but I remember those days so clearly.

Really pretty! I like the softness to the colors from the TD, while not being actually pastel.

Gotta love the noise of chaos that a houseful of kids bring. That’s the sound of happiness and love. Awesome tutorial!

Loved it. Maybe you can put the stand on a silicone mat or a butter paper and allow the slipped soap to collect there. Should be fun to see. I thought taping the bottom of the soap mould to be a grown up idea, but I love fun things. Thank you for the lovely video.

Beautiful soap! Thank you for sharing. What is your mold lined with?
@elysianacressoap30463 жыл бұрын
Thank you! This is my absolute favorite mold- it is hard wood that has a silicone sheet adhered to the inside. It keeps its shape and releases the soap perfectly every single time with ease. It was made by Tatiana Serko at "Creative Soaps by Stetso"

Beautiful Soap, really gorgeous. Question, do you not line your wooden mold?
@elysianacressoap3046 Жыл бұрын
This mold actually has a silicone liner attached to the sides! It's clear so it's hard to tell, but it's a thin sheet of silicone glued to each piece of wood, and it allows the soap to slide right out!

Btw, would a liner(parchment paper) ease unmolding?
@elysianacressoap30463 жыл бұрын
My mold is actually lined with silicone and does an amazing job of releasing all soap, but I was being extra slow and careful this time since I unmolded it quite early (while it was actually still warm and continuing to go through gel phase). If I had waited just another hour or two, it would have slid out like warm butter!

3:50 I notice that you’re wood mould doesn’t have any silicone inside neither paper to remove it when it’s all set and done to cut. I’m intrigued to see how it is going to get off the wood… 😮

@@elysianacressoap3046 oh! Thank you for the explanation. I saw that at the end, and it went out perfectly! Effortless, and no damage. It’s what we all want. I’m going to investigate, the name, but sounds it was made in Russia, and do to war between Russia and Ucraine, probably it’s not being made at this time.
