One of the producers mentioned uses an Akai S950 in the studio, to filter their samples. They get the "vintage" sound from te actual tools themselves, then they use a computer program to sequence. Pro tip: use your sampler's lfo to create a deeper vinyl tracking flutter.

@@prodbyalexiz7325 always sample directly into your sampler. You want it's a/d characteristic and sample rate. You can dump single cycle samples and short drum sounds via midi. I use Sample Wrench for that.
