Elevator is just a shaft that goes through multiple floors, isn't it? Square room above another square room, with square void interior (removes floor), each with double pocket doors. It shouldn't be hard to mimic, unless you would like to actually build the elevator cabin too. Still doable with detached room inside the shaft, but tricky.
