As soon as i started playing your video my daughter ran to the kitchen and made me pause it and pinky swear to wait on her to use the bathroom to play it! She said, "Don't play it without me! I like that lady!" 😊💞🙏 much love and God bless.... now my kid will be twisting everything in the house 🤦‍♀️🤣

Just watched the video and love the variety of topics covered. It occurred to me while watching the twisting and helix pattern of cordage, that our DNA is designed this way. Ingenious method created by God.🙂

Oh the stedfast love of the lord never ceases, may we be entwined with him much stronger than cordage through the power of the holy ghost. May he stretch where we would break and let the Lord Jesus lift us and keep us to a heavenly place, forever. Amen.

I save all my hay and straw cords too. They are better than duct tape in many situations! I've hauled home many goats in the bed of my pickup by creating either ties around their horns or collars around their necks, so they can stand or lay down, but cant step towards either side of the bed to jump out.

Loved this video, you are such an amazing soul. Now, I have something to do this Winter, (seriously and in front of the fireplace). I had probably around 300 of these bags as I use 5 or 6 a day when I clean my cat's litter boxes and for use in my bathrooms. I have many from Walmart (of course) and many from Dollar General which are yellow. Two things I thought about using these for was for hanging plants, (which I have many) and also for lines to connect to my crawfish traps. They would be perfect for that or maybe even making fish stringers. In closing, I want to thank you for glorifying His name.

I “braid” my hair this way sometimes. 2 strands: Twist each strand counter-clockwise separately. …(and at the same time…) twist those strands Together clockwise. It makes a Rope. Alternatively: You could twist the two strands clockwise separately, and twist them together counterclockwise. As long as you do the opposite, it doesn’t matter which way you twist.

They might not be compostable but they are biodegradable. In fact, the cordage you’re making with trash bags will deteriorate rather quickly. In months rather than years.

Great skill that everyone needs to practice. Nice video. I found a rope maker in the loft of my fathers barn. It is relatively crude but incorporates three strands rather than two. It has a crank but could easily be powered by a drill. Im gonna try to reproduce and improve it. If I'm successful I may make a video. Or better yet, I could mail one to you and you could make the video. Lol, no one would want to watch me make a rope if they could watch you instead.

The plastic bags are too stretchy , I tried making a climbing rope out of some and got nearly finished before I decided there is too much stretch for it to work wel, I didn't do it like you did though, I braided it, it was between 1.5 and 2 inches in diameter if I remember right. That is a good way to show how to do it though.

If you needed to stop while working on your cord, would a clip type clothespin hold it til you come back to resume your twisting? Also maybe using one to 'hold' your progress as you work, kind of a third hand, as your doorknob would be?

These are much more easier to make . They are sometimes used for the homeless to create a mattress type... And out of one bag you can make a continuest line which measures many feet ..... U can crochet mats.. I noticed yours was a weave unlike what u demastrated.. Any way I wasn't intending to comment as you never answer me ... I watch your video of apple cider , I'm sure 50 times and was interested and wanted to know a little more but I didn't respond 🇨🇦Canada🇨🇦🎄🙏🙏♥️

Loretta, thank you for the comments. Yes, these bags can just be woven into all sorts of things just as they are or cut into strips. I was demonstrating how to make a sturdier cordage or rope that can lift far more than the bag is capable of left as-is. I am so glad you made the Vinegar! I get hundreds of emails and comments every day so there is just no way to reply to everyone. I am really sorry your questions got missed.

ABC's of Salvation A. Admit you're a sinner "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23 B. Believe Jesus is Lord. Believe Jesus died for your sins. "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 6:23 C. Call upon his name Confess: " If you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Romans 10:9-10 😊
