Thanks for the inspiration. I used a heavier catalog cover (front and back) which was 11" long. I cut strips going 3/4" to 1/2", then 1/2" to 1/4". I ended up adding narrower strips (a third round) to round them out a little more. They came out cool but are still not as round as yours. I'll keep experimenting. Wish I could post a picture here to share.

Small beads are a nicer 'round' - will definitely try them as have been trying to work out the length of paper required. 17 inch (total 34inches) paper not easy to come by but 3 x 11 inch or 3 x 12 inch would probably work with the mid taper adjusted. A great way to use junk mail which is often glossy colour printed.

Hi Janice Mae, Thank you for all of your creative and very instructive videos. I really appreciate how thorough you are. The round beads are among my most favorite to make, but it seems like you are the only one who makes them. I experiment, but I can’t seem to get 8 mm and 6 mm beads perfected. Have you? If so, would you please make a double video like the one above for the 16 mm and the 12 mm? On another video you showed us how to make very tiny paper beads. You created a flower piece of jewelry. Do you have a pattern for that? I notice my eyes don’t see detail as well as I wish, so I can’t copy it from the photo. I cannot discern what is on top of the flower. You are always so hopeful and cheerful. I love the positive way you come across. Same with Dee, a lady you collaborate with on occasion. Well, thank you for hours of pleasure and learning! Please use the varnish to paint the beads and brush but do not give it the glass

I love the beaded rings you make and was wondering where you get your ring bases from? I have looked for them online but I must be searching the wrong name as I can't find them.
