I would add one other thing. If you are making jewellery, make sure you have enough of the same type of bead. If you do a number of crafts as well, you can always find a purpous for a random bead, say, hanging it on a key ring cluster. If you are making a specific necklace, though, the chances are you won't be able to replicate what you did, so not having enough beads for your project is ahhhhhhhhhhh (or something like that). Glad I discovered your channel.

As an experiment I tried corrugated paper that I found which was colored and patterned. Worked great! A great video - loved that you gave solutions for each of the mistakes. Thanks for sharing this.

I can remember making all these mistakes in the beginning. So I had to slow down and just have fun experimenting with rolling paper beads. You can’t beat a nice pair of long scissors. Take your time, it’s not a race and just enjoy the rhythm of cutting the paper.

In my own experience, I prefer to use thin paper for my beads. My finish product looks more like a hard glass than rolled paper.

This is my go to roller and yes you are correct, it’s one roller handle but you get 4 different size rollers which you just pop in and out squeakerchimp.etsy.com/listing/1452188523

I just varnish my beads before glazing. that gives them strength and they can't be squished anymore

What about using thin paper, then coating the tiny bead in UV cured resin?

I always say give it a try, you never know. Might be fantastic. I still leaning towards the bead providing the structure and support as opposed to the glaze.
