I also have the Brother 1034d serger but I haven't used the ruffler foot on it. I typically use a Ruffler foot or a Gathering foot on my sewing machine. I'll have to try using the serger ruffler foot now that I know what can be achieved using it.

Hello, I have a ruffle foot for my brother serger but don't need it to do the ruffles...its used more for if you want to attach the ruffles to the fabric all at the same time...so I'm not sure that you would need yours or not. Some sergers don't allow the tension to be adjusted 🤷♀️ sorry, i wish a knew a little bit more about it.

@@notimetowork I've seen a tutorial on this using a babylock on KZbin somewhere. They did not adjust the needle tension, but only the differential to 2. They also changed the width of the stitch if I remember correctly, but that's it. And it worked.
