Thanks Delilah. I didn’t know how to finish serged tails properly until now. I also want to try that serged hem. This was SO helpful ❤

You are so professional. I love the way you teach. I’ve been doing this but didn’t know that it’s to make sure that everything is flat and act as a security guard. It makes sense now.

I use a clear plastic curve foot for attaching cuffs. It's shorter than the regular foot, so it's really handy.

I thought you’d show us the serger settings you set your serger at for sewing on knits? Thanks, great info! I’ll go check out the video for ruffles.

Hi. I am a new subscriber and have watched your content for months. Thanks so much for the tips on the Serger. I purchased a brother 1634 dx recently but have been a little intimidated to use it but now doing research. I spent hours last night on KZbin looking up serging techniques. Wow! Of all days this was your content too👌🏾💞

Great and helpful video. I learned a few things. Do you ever successfully use a twin needle on a regular machine for hems? I have tried a few times and my thread always gets screwy. I think I must not be threading it correctly. Your hemming technique may be an alternative that I can try. Thank you.

glad you found it useful and i did recently try a twin needle and it did not work out at all! more practice is needed i suppose 😃

Thank you for these great tips ! Are you using a 3 thread overlock stitch or 4 thread ? I was about to purchase a 1800.oo coverstitch machine maybe I don’t need to now
@SimplyDelilah3 жыл бұрын
i use a 4 thread ...it does have the option of just using 3 threads too.

I have that machine. How do you sew a 5/8 stitch??
@SimplyDelilah3 жыл бұрын
You could easily just match it up to one of those other notches…I’m generally just lining it up to the edge which is 1/4” seem allowance.
