When I was younger, stores sold powder in the same scents as the perfumes. I used to love that! Can a few drops of the perfume be added instead of essential oils? I LOVE this new series you're doing!

I've been watching you're you tube downloads for about 2 years now and I love all of your posts. I have cystic acne and have started eating healthier. I have to say I'm not 100% free of acne but I am getting there. I found that cow's milk was one of my problems which I love cheese and I have to stay away from it. Thank you for your channel and your advice has impacted my life.

Christine, I've never tried body dusts or powders before and I really want to try this DIY out, what would I have to rinse this with after I'm done? As in after i've gone out, do I just shower and rinse it off with normal body wash? Thank you so much for your DIYs, I think yours are the best, I look forward to your next one. You are also very beautiful and elegant and I love the way you talk. Please excuse my English if I mentioned anything wrong :) love from a new subscriber from Paris xo

So excited by this video. The box is adorable. I have to watch that video. Thanks for doing these videos. I'd love to make all kinds of beauty products. Hope you'll be showing us how to make soap. hello! I can't wait to try this! I had a question about the cinnamon though. Does it add a germ killing property to it do you think?
@lavenderdownard9886 жыл бұрын
Joanne Stevenson yes is does, Cinnamon is a natural antiseptic; if you want more of a spring smell with germ killing properties play with oregano finely ground. It won't be as potent as 'oil of oregano' but its still oregano :) coco would still smell nice with it if you were to play with nutmeg, finagreek powder and or camomile to change the warn notes of the chocolate into more air like blossom vibes ..hope that was ease to understand trying on my phone is challenging Hahaa #1stWorldProblems

I made this too and it smells amazing but the baking soda made it feel gritty on the skin. I was wondering if you could use corn starch instead?
@shelleyjr2136 жыл бұрын
I agree, baking soda makes it feel gritty. I will use the baking soda batch for my shoes. On the the next batch I am going to eliminate it. I also like using White Rice Powder, very silky on the skin. FYI, don't even think of using the brown rice powder, very gritty unless you like that feel.

Great idea! But... there are SO many ways you could do it! If you are going to make your own powder, you should do a lot of research and discover what ingredients would be best for your skin type. For example, when I do it I will use a clay, maybe Kaolin? (to absorb oil), Tea tree oil (to prevent and treat break outs), etc... Sooooo many options. I need to do, probably, hours more of research before I order my ingredients :O. But, I will! because I find it fascinating and fun :)

Do you think you could use some pink food colouring to make it look pretty or would that turn your body pink?
@reluttr210 жыл бұрын
I would not use food coloring as it would probably stain clothing. You want a dry pigment kinda like the mica powder she used, and at that I would only use a little or it will produce a blushing effect.
@KarinaDariafy9 жыл бұрын
Showers o Sunshine It would just clump up awkwardly. I recommend just adding some powder blush for the same effect! Visit my channel for more DIY tips and tricks! Enjoy(:
