Dr.Agarwal, I have a point. A large number of cora Vinca (multi coloured ) seedlings come out from original plants in my garden. Surprisingly, flowers from the new baby plants are not multicoloured. They are white. But I carefully collected the seedlings from the original multicoloured Vinca and there was no common (white/purpole) colour periwinkle in my terrace garden. Do not they follow the original colour line? Secondly, is this the time of planting coloured Cora Vinca? Regards Suhas Basu

Yes once the rainy season is over you can plant seedlings in the garden. Excess water may rotten your plant.This is a good time to sow the vinca seeds and those will flower profusely in the winter months.I also have made some plants ready which I will grow in the open garden once the rainy days are over. Very nice and important question about color. Everyone should know the facts that the Big international companies when produce seeds and market them are F1 variety and are Genetically Engineered in such a fashion that either the F2 offsprings are sterile or produce very ordinary quality flowers so that each time the buyer has to purchase fresh seeds from them and they earn a lot from selling those seeds.Therefore , you should not expect much from the seeds produced from your garden. In this context I would like to remind you,that was the controversy in India a few years back regarding BT Brinjal. I hope you understand the fact. Thanks.

Hello Sir. I love your videos and they are helping me alot. I have a question I have rabbits at home n sometimes I feed them fresh flowers like marigold n rose. You can't feed vinca as it contains Vincristine, an alcoloid compound. Blue powder is fungicide which is toxic in nature.
