This is the best / purest version i have seen on youtube to make sesame oil. Other videos were adding canola oil in their sesame, which is not 100% pure method of extraction.

This is the correct way to do it ,similar to making coconut oil,unlike just roasting the sesame seeds then pouring in vegetable oil and straining it for it flavor,,,,,your methods is time consuming but guarantee it's the real oil you getting there ,well done💖😎✌

It is something done in the lab. Using a machine called a calorimeter. If you don't have a calorimeter, it is best to use the estimate for already measured sesame oil which is about 885 calories per 100 grams.

Is this method comparable to cold pressed in that is the flavor similar.
@OnyxFoodHill
@OnyxFoodHill 4 жыл бұрын
In this method, the seeds are toasted over minimal heat to release the flavour of the seeds. The oil has a distinctive taste, a nutty, and toasty flavor which is richer and it is darker in color compared to the cold pressed sesame oil which has a milder flavour and a lighter colour. The difference is in the taste and colour of the oil.
