Those leftover cherries can be reinfused for another batch. Or, pat dry and dip in dark chocolate to make cherry liqueur chocolates! 🍫🍒🍫

Thank you very much! Nice video! I like that for people who don't speak Russian, (I do), you had another person translating it in English.

Hi, may I know the reason why did you fermented the cherries under the sun light? Is any reason? Is not better do it in a dark, fresh place?Tks.
@GettinThere1
@GettinThere1 2 жыл бұрын
Fermentation is usually done in warm temperatures, causing bacteria growth which in turn feed off the sugars. The by-product is alcohol.

You need to let all of the sugar dissolve first before adding any alcohol!

@@gracebutton9952 Isn't methanol produced during fermentation of the cherries ?
@gracebutton9952
@gracebutton9952 4 жыл бұрын
@@Synarmo the amount of pectin that naturally occurs in cherries is so small compared to that of other fruits (I think it's like less than 1%) that any methanol produced from fermentation would be insignificant.

Just strain it. It will be fine! Alot of cherries have worms. They won't hurt you!
@SuperVegetaAF
@SuperVegetaAF 5 жыл бұрын
So long as the worms don’t get into the jar after it’s strained you should be fine. If your scared of them getting through the first strain use a double strainer or strain into a coffee filter. Any excess debree will get caught in the coffee filter.

Who the fuck is talking in the background? Also, this does not look like like Kirschwasser. Its suppose to be more clear.

The person talking in the background is the person making the liquor. He speaks Russian. For your convenience, another person is translating in English. Don't use expletives!
