I don't think it's a battery. Probably main ac voltage< Very dangerous if it's the case. Description says 3.7 battery but your causing a direct short and can possibly explode the battery

I think he's just using a 12v car battery or a 12v dc wall adapter. Iv'e noticed the 'welding' effect before when shorting to see if there is power in a battery or to see if a car battery charger is working. I think the only reason why the razor blade is melting and welding to another one is because it is so thin. You're not going to be able to weld a patch onto a car panel with that setup lol.

@@bigbasil1908 I agree. I used something similar but it was a MOT (Microwave Oven Transformer) X 2. Turned 220vac to about 6vac. It could melt bolts and such. You had to use carbon rods to melt non ferrous metals.

We used to do something similar with a 12v car battery and carbon rods out of old batteries. Saw it in an old electrical book and it actually makes a descent tack welder

Kuch b. The join destroyed the entire blade without any control on the place of joint. It's just a crude way of making a weak joint for a limited number of items. I appreciate the theory but not very practical. Quite hazzardous as well.

You can do pencil wedding on 230 volt elect.supply at home by including A resistance insulated by fibre glass tape &fixed to a stand.25 watt iron needs o.1 Amps+ current .So resistor value=230/current in amps.(wattage of resistor to be10 w.)A fan regulator can be used,by setting &@lowest speed in place of resistor,gradually increasing speed setting.

@@arifcrafts3961 (if you mean weld using voltage from an lipo battery) no, the voltage is too low. you will need at least an 12v dc. even so most welding machines use low voltage and higher current, so i dont suggest using this and just buy a real welding machines.
