How To Make Slow Stitched Art Using Fabric Scraps - Birds Part 1 -

How to use fabric scraps to make little slow stitched squares with birds. You can use these in larger stitched pieces or as part of your journaling and you can certainly make them on a larger scale.
Save all your small pieces of scrap fabric to use in little squares like these. Once I have enough squares, I’ll make a fabric book.

If you did not realize that God motivated you to make this video, reread the thank you’s from those of us who are taking the time to thank you. I have no doubt that everyone who watched you create was blessed and inspired! I too save the smallest scrapes of fabric, trims, and threads, knowing that one day I will have the perfect use for it. Do you ever use fray check or something to hold these delicate pieces through a washing -- even hand washing? I can see adding them as elements on clothing, but wonder how well they would hold up to wear and wash. Truly love the simple beauty of these.

I don’t wash my art so I’m not concerned but if you were planning to wash yours, you could use whatever you’d normally use to help with fraying.
