Hi i make my roti wuth boiling water .n little marg .3 cups flour .salt to taste.dough .n. use little oil on hands to get all the flour together .maje rounds .n cover dish wuth dush cloth .leave for a while .then roll. n cook on thava . soft n done.

Mam aapne wo triangle shape se mast circulae banaya bel ke.. mujhse nahi hoga shayad se 😁 but one thing I learnt is that goondna is very important as it softens the dough.. wo kaatne wala idea bhinacha tha👍

Take wheat flour 3 cups Use 1.5 cups water to knead Take the floor on a flat bottomed big plate, add salt as required Add water to it little by little and knead it Knead as much as you can to keep it soft. Adding water little at a time ensures you do not add more than required water and the dough doesn't get soggy. To keep roti soft do not add more flour at the kneading stage After the dough is kneaded and is soft, add oil to it and knead again for five minutes. Keep it aside for some time. While making the roti divide the dough into parts and roll each one to a smooth circle At this stage add some flour to the dough and roll it. Once you roll it a little add oil and wrap it in a triangle shape. Add more flour as necessary to roll it out in a circle Make sure to roll at the edges and not in the centre Put it on the gas stove for cooking Make sure as you see little bubbles to turn it on both sides. Do it again and in the end add ghee or little oil on both sides to keep it soft If you wish for perfect round shaped rotis, use a circular object and cut it out. Hope this helps

Try not to use readymade aata and while kneading add some oil and after kneading put some oil and keep it rest for 5 min

No baking powder or baking soda only Atta and water and after kneading spread 1 tsp of oil in dough & it for 10 min.

Mam Millets ki SOFT Chapati banana sikhaaye. Gehu ke Aate ki Chapati to aasani se soft ban jati hai par Ragi, Bajra, Jowar ki Roti soft banana bahut mushkil hai.

Is your Aata All purpose wheat or whole wheat flour. Whole wheat flour is difficult to handle and chapatis will not come out soft.

This type of roti dusted with oil inside is a staple in UP. Dinner is usually these roti- parantha with ghiya sabzi.....best taste in world

I use whole wheat aata . No issue While kneading wholemeal aata use lukewarm water. It will become soft.

Don't add baking soda. U can use lukewarm water or normal tap water.
