Excellent demonstration and very clear instructions . I made these yesterday. They turned out good but were very oily and absorbed a lot of oil. Please give me some tips. I would like to make these again.. thanks

Too much softness in the dough (not enough flour). Also, make sure the oil is warm. (Do you live in a cold place? Or is it winter there?) If the oil is cold, then the cakes will absorn too much oil and take too long to cook. In almost every demonstration on KZbin, the content creators say that the oil must be very warm before you fry the cakes. Actually , when I watched her video, it seemed like it took a long time for the cakes to start frying...meaning that her oil was cool. Again, the oil (according to 90% of half cake / half keki cooking demonstrations) must be very warm or barely medium heat. In culinary school, when making doughnuts, they always tell you fry over medium heat or the doughnuts will be greasy! The same principle applies to half cakes/half keki. I encourage you to watch other videos, especially the frying part!
