I've tried just now and the result is amazing. Thank you very much, Phil❤. I was searching for a recipe that don't consume lot of time and boooom this recipe popped up On my side I used all-purpose flour, added 1 flat table spoon baking powder and small of baking soda. And instead of water/cow milk I used coconut milk

Phil's thank you so much. Tried this and it came out so well. Can't wait to prepare them for my son when he closes the schools. He calls them jubilee and daily I have to part with 50bob for them. Not any more thanks to you. And oooh following instructions is key to getting the recipe right. Mimi na kiherehere yangu niliweka the first three balls on high heat. Weeee machozi..... Then I remembered medium to low heat. The rest have come out so yummie. God keep bless you sana.

I tried it out today, thanks for great directions. I had to throw away my mandazis because i put too much baking soda. Didn’t have self rising so my measurements were way off 🙈. Will retry tomorrow I bet will be awesome.

Hi Phil, my first attempt they broke whilst cooking got burnt but we really sweet and soft, I didn’t follow the recipe to the T, I put too much oil….will try again and again 😂
