You have just said " coffee powder ". Sorry sir, It is not so easy as that ! Selection and composition of the powder is vital for good filter coffee. There is Peaberry seeds which give superb flavour but not strength of decoction. There is Plantation A seeds which gives strong decoction but not so flavourful. Depending on individual taste the proportion of peaberry powder to plantation A powder must be varied i.e.. 50:50 , 60:40 , 70:30 etc. Each combo will give different taste. To make sure you get drop by drop filtered decoction overnight and not in 10 minutes in the bottom half A) The powder should be finely ground not granular. B) The plunger should be pressed on the top of the powder using light pressure. Too much pressure will cement the powder and decoction will not brew. C) Water should NOT directly be poured on the powder...only on the plunger and not disturb the powder. Finally do NOT use more than 15% chicory.

@@RAMA-pc1oe What I have detailed above should be enough to help you choose the right mixture of Peaberry + Plantation A + 15% chicory...depending on your tastes. Additional hints : 1) prepare enough decoction for just one day consumption.Decoction becomes stale and tasteless very quickly and loses flavour. 2) If you must store for 2/3 days....add 1 tablespoon sugar to the decoction and keep in fridge.This will preserve the flavour for some days. 3 ) Always add Milk to decoction...never decoction to milk. Drink at temperature of 65* C or less.

Yes . 70 % fine ground powder and 30% coarse ground powder . Use peaberry only. When the decoction is first 50% dripped remove. This is thick.fir your degree cofee The remaining 50% will be thin drip. This you use for lighter coffee or can add instant powder to get thickness .
