Ingredients for spicy chicken leg roast recipe.
Tsp- Teaspoon, Tbsp-Tablespoon
Masala Powder:
Coriander powder -3tbsp
Cumin powder -1tsp
Black pepper - 1tsp
Turmeric 1/2 tsp
Paprika - 3 tsp
Marinade;
Masala Powder
Garlic &Ginger paste - 2tbsp
Salt - 1/2 tsp
Lemon juice - 2tsp
Vegetable oil - 2tbsp
Water - 1 tbsp
Tempering:
Bay leaves -4 leaves
Garlic - 3-4 cloves
Cumin seeds
Preparation:
Marinate the chicken with spicy masala Powder and set aside for 1 hour
slice the onion.
Heat the 2 tbsp of vegetable oil in a pan and add the items for tempering.give a stir and then add the sliced onions.
Fry the medium heat for around 3-4 mins till it's light brown and the add the marinated chicken pieces.fry on medium heat for 2-3 mins and then flip.
Repeat on the other side.
Add a splash of water and then cover and cook on low heat for 10 mins.
Remove lid and flip the chicken legs .baste with oil in the pan
Again cover and cook for another 10 mins till the chicken is cooked and browned.
