This is the new best sprouted wheat bread recipe on the internet. Thank you so much. Much improved. Could you 0lease do videos on how to make sprouted rye bread and mullet bread and bread using any other grain you might have access to. I will comment when I have made it towards the end of next week. I will use my cast iron Dutch oven that has been in my family for about 200 years. It was used for bread and fruit cake at Christmas and that is all so it is in amazing shape. My mouth 8s watering watching you butter a slice, Rita. You know how to live! Thank you.

Saw your previous video about 6 months ago and followed almost exactly as you had done. All I can say is thank you so much. I have been regularly making this amazing bread since then. Before you mentioned using cinnamon, raisins and honey and that is my favorite. Thank you for making this update as I will be looking forward to these making these changes!

Thanks for this update! I found your original video almost a year ago and have been baking this bread at least once a week since. I have loved it!! I will try baking this in my dutch oven and cooling in a lidded pot soon! I've also experimented with a few different things that some might like to try: I've tried putting the "dough" through the juicer twice which yields a little smoother dough. I've also added 1/2 TB of active dry yeast and some honey into 1/3 -1/2 cup of warm water and let it bubble up while I'm "juicing" the sprouted grains. I add that to the dough along with some salt and a tablespoon or two of vital wheat gluten. Then work it all in together with wet hands and form it into a traditional bread shape, then let it rise for an hour in a bread pan before baking. Of course, it doesn't rise as much as white bread, but it does rise and results in a more traditional looking loaf of bread. Another tip: after the bread has cooled, put it in the refrigerator overnight before slicing the next morning. It's so much easier to slice this way as I like to slice it thin as well. I then have almost zero shreds of bread on the knife! Thanks again for your brilliant bread making techniques!

I watched your first video on making sprouted bread yesterday. I ordered the omega juicer today, and should get it in a couple days. I'm super-excited to make 100% sprouted grain bread instead of just adding sprouted wheat berries to my freshly milled flour! Thank you so much for these videos❤

So Im going to try combining two of your recipes. Im going to try sprouting the wheat in WHEY - and then add some whey as i put it through the juicer- THEN see how that brings the natural yeast of the WHEY to see if i get a bit more of a rise out of the sprouted bread.

Would it be possible to use a sausage grinder in lieu of a juicer? I found almost the exact juicer you use on Craigslist, but they sold it and neglected to take down the ad. Yours were the first videos I found on sprouted bread making, so I'm hoping to still be able to follow this process!

Hello! Lots do make my bread using a sausage grinder. It does work but comes out a little coarser then with the juicer.
@Hyper-LinkmanАй бұрын
@@EverythingHomemadewithRita thanks for the response! I actually tried it last night, and you're spot-on. Even though it's not ideal, I may try a food processor, pulsing and mixing as needed. I'm trying to replicate the recipe from the Essene Gospel of Peace; this bread is mentioned both in the bible, and was a staple food for students of Pythagoras! The Essene gospel mentioned that the grains were to be crushed, so I'm assuming there's some leeway when it comes to how you process it lol.
