Found your channel recently and just wanted to provide some encouragement and say your videos are great!! I think I've rarely seen any TMB playthrough videos that clock in under 2 hours but you've clearly spent a lot of time editing your videos and the quality is fantastic, the effort really comes through. Keep up the good work :) your channel deserves to grow much more

Hey Ryan, that means a lot. It take quite a bit to produce one of these and comments like these are the fuel I need to keep going. Thanks for watching!

Good shit, m’boy. Static is a beast in solo, a beast in coop, and a beast in bed. Stacking up your counters in the early game is huge for long term success. The sheer amount of defense he can roll while still being a powerful attacker is incredible!
@Neon_Gorilla Жыл бұрын
Thank you! As I said rolling defense has never been so fun :)

Glad you’re not sleeping on the peaceful fury that Static can unleash anymore. Easily my favorite gearloc from the new set. You can consistently have battles where you throw 5+ attack dice in multiple rounds without ever training your attack stat above the base of 1, it’s incredible. Chip theory really captures the feel of playing a fantasy monk type character. You also didn’t mention that his “counter” dice don’t reset between days so you can charge up at the end of one battle then just burst down the first baddie you see in the next battle. Just so much fun!
@Neon_Gorilla Жыл бұрын
100% agree with your sentiment. There aren’t many/any gearlocs that fulfill the power fantasy like static. Good point on the counters not resetting. I think I mentioned it in the raw footage but got cut somewhere. A very important point!

@@Neon_Gorilla for sure! Your efforts to make the information visually available to viewers and gamify the gaming experience makes for an entertaining watch. I’ll check out any and all your TMB play through videos from here on out. I just got my pledge a week ago and I’m currently trying out Gale in some 40 waves content vs Kollossum.

Just found this! Also saw your vid on Static vs Gavenkog. Since you made this after that fight, what would you recommend to train instead of DEX at the first few days?

Just wanted to say I love these videos. Short and too the point, with lots of good information. I don't have the time or patience to watch a 2 hour video. Do you plan on going back and making a video on all the older Gearlocs?

Hey man, love your videos and editing. I'm relatively new to this game (and your channel) and aftee really enjoying our first play of Undertow, I went ahead and ordered more. Static just arrived today along with 40 Waves, and this video is just what I was looking for!! After seeing Chip Theory's quality and fun gameplay, I'm all abourd the hypetrain. Think I will definitely late pledge their upcoming Elder Scrolls game as well! Hope to see more videos, as I feel you provide unique content not covered by other content creators. What other games are on your future list? Have you played Kingdom Death Monster before? And what's your thoughts on Burncycle?
@Neon_Gorilla10 ай бұрын
Thanks and welcome to the Chip Theory Family:). It’s a deep hole to fall into. I don’t have the wallet/time to get into KDM but am intrigued. I think oathsworn or maybe aeon trespass/kingdom forlorn are a more approachable next step for me. In terms of burncycle. I have a love hate relationship with ship with that game. I think it’s wonderful but I don’t play it often enough to have the rules stick so it feels tough for me to get it to the table. TMB on the other hand is something I will keep out and play a bunch a bunch. I certainly get my moneys worth out of TMB. Also very interested in Elder scrolls. Can’t wait to see what they give us there.
@kobusbrits352310 ай бұрын
@@Neon_Gorilla Both Oathsworn and ATO are very nice! And thanks :) really digging the look and feel of TMB so far. I also had a look at you Static gameplay video, and it's the best gameplay editing I've seen yet. Hope you plan to do more when you have time! A have a quick question: if a Gearloc has a spendable consumable, does it cost a dexterity to use?
