I tried this and it was a hit. I liked the idea of adding the Chinese sauce as well as frying the potatoes. 👍🏽👍🏽

Looks very delicious. Thanks for sharing the tip from your brother-in-law. You are a very good cook. It's amazing how we all have different twists to the same dish. We are never too old to learn and try different things. When you have some time can you please do kaloungie. Thanks again.

Your music in the background is way too loud; very difficult to hear what you say.

Looks very delicious. Is the fish from Guyana? What kind?
@Sharmins_Kitchen4 жыл бұрын
Donna Edinboro it was smoked herrings from Canada. Guyana also have beautiful smoked trout but I only get the trout when I go to Guyana or when someone is coming to Canada.✌️❤️

Hello sharmin we just wanted to let you know that we tried this dish 2 days ago.. Growing up I never liked stew fish..I would tell my mom that the gravy was just so thin that it didn't look appetizing.. Following your recipe, adding the potato made the difference.. It helped to thicken up the sauce really well.. The only thing we didn't have on hand was the Chinese sauce which was a bummer because the stew didn't come out the color we wanted.. But we will ensure to get the sauce for the next time... thanks again for sharing and keep on cooking!!
